Abstract

Utilization of GIS within a Changing Ground Based Air Defence Environment

Ground Based Air Defence is changing, in many areas but not least in terms of the threat and in turn, the capability required to defend against the threat. Lockheed Martin believe providing open and flexible functionality is at the heart of ensuring the adaptability and longevity of the GBAD solution. This presentation aims to identify the specific needs of Ground Based Air Defence Systems and how Lockheed Martin are integrating the Luciad GIS product line within its SkyKeeper System to address them.
