|After retiring from the Air Force in 2011, as a Lieutenant Colonel, José Gonzalez took on several technology positions, mostly for the Mexican government.
In 2014, after finishing an Advanced Master in Embedded Systems at the Institute Superior of Aeronautic and Space (ISAE-SUPAERO) in Toulouse, he joined “Decsef Sistemas”, a small entrepreneurial company dedicated to research and technology deployment for geospatial systems, Real Time systems, Real Time computers, telecommunication formats and protocols related to defense and aeronautic.
AERONAUTICAL GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION APPLICATION.
This solution shows aeronautical information from Mexico that is already geo referred and available, to visualize it in 3D. The format is based on a web feature service developed with LuciadRIA, Angular and NodeJS. Through its graphic interface the customer can navigate and consult several layers of aeronautical data, such as waypoints/fixed points, navaids, airports, airways, and airspace, together information related to their attributes according with AIP published in Mexico.
In addition, the application can deploy web map tile services and digital elevation models to offer a better lecture of territory to the customers. Furthermore, this solution can consume rest services whit radar data allowing the capacity to track and trace aircrafts and deploy them in real time. Finally, the aeronautical data is standardized at AIXM format to allow the actualization process published by the aeronautical authorities.
This presentation will provide an overview of what this means for real-world projects, using tests with a large, detailed city model as a concrete example.
